At approximately 1000 to 1200 feet of elevation, this shroom tends to grow at higher sea-levels if found in the wild. It is a small to medium sized mushroom that thrives in a warm and humid tropical climate. Its appearance is very typical to the Psilocybe Cubensis family. Costa Ricans have a long thin stem and a beautiful golden coloured cap.
